Toddler does have toys, he just prefers mud, anything from Home Depot, and empty milk bottles.

Despite having no Baby Einsten, he's still growing up gorgeous, smart and be-mulleted.

Some of the activities are my idea. Most are Toddler's.

Dried Pasta

Sometimes, it seems like all we do is go and hang out at the neighborhood coffee shop. They have had the genius idea of dumping a load of toys in the back of the shop, attracting every mum and toddler within 5 miles. Mums eat cake, drink coffee, and natter, while toddlers amuse themselves. Bliss.

After a couple of days of this, I feel slightly guilty and resolve to do a worthy activity involving Mum-Toddler interaction. Toddler is briviting through the kitchen cupboards and tossing out packets, amd I spy some dried pasta, cliche of preschool crafts.

As mentioned in the intro, Toddler is very keen on hardware. Toddler thinks twisty pasta are screws and takes them off to look for holes to screw them into. This is a solo Toddler activity, so until I need to extract pasta from the door locks, the vent at the bottom of the dishwasher, and the drain in the bath, I put some coffee on.
