Baby einstein, munchkin, and other purveyors of baby toys, all think I should spend $7 on plastic pots with holes in the bottom so my child can learn about material properties, fine motor skills etc in the bath. Talk about money for old rope.
Requirements - yoghurt pots, margerine tub, apple sauce pot. Superheated metal pokey thing.
(Mum does this bit) Heat skewer, knife point, whatever on gas burner. Poke holes in bottom of pot.
(Toddler does this bit) Get in bath. Pour, tip, dribble, strain, happily for almost an hour.
